Briscoe D. Jones

Briscoe DeWitt Jones, 64, of Beaver Falls, Pa, our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, nephew and cousin lost his courageous battle with cancer on August 1, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Hospital, Beaver, Pennsylvania. Born January 27, 1957 in Beaver Falls, Pa to the late Parris and Gertrude Franklin Jones. Briscoe graduated from Riverside High School, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and later joined the U. S. Army. He was a professional welder, who enjoyed working on cars, fishing, body building and listening to classic rock music. Briscoe is survived by his wife, Joyce of 31 years. His children include son, Leland (wife, Jordan); daughters, Stefanie and Naomi (husband, Tom); brother, Parris (wife, Daisy); sisters, Dawn (significant other, Carlos) and Debra (husband, Bernard); two aunts, an uncle, five grandchildren, nieces, nephew, many cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittany. A celebration of Briscoe’s life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to express their thanks to the caregivers at Good Samaritan Hospice.
