Charles "Chuck" Edwin Douglas, III, age 65, of Darlington, PA, died on Saturday, December 28, 2025. He was born in Rochester, PA, on December 23, 1960, and was the son of the late Charles Edwin, Jr. and Nancy Lou Schuller Douglas.
Charles, or as most of us knew him “Chuck”, was a hard worker who held various jobs over the years, many of which were at Horsehead Corporation in Beaver County. Before retiring earlier this year, he was employed by NF&M International as an inspector. Chuck was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Chuck was an avid hunter and cherished the outdoors. He could often be found in the woods when he wasn’t at home. He loved gardening, spending time with family, and above all, making other people laugh. Anyone who knew Chuck knew he was extremely kind and the most loving father, grandpappy, uncle, and brother.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Brianna (Brent) Preti of Charlottesville, VA; and Caitlyn Douglas of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Blakely Habit; Taytum Habit; and Tripp Habit; sisters, Denise (Phil) Frischkorn of Calcutta, OH; and Veronica (Jim) Rachuba of Beaver Falls, PA.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Chuck’s memory on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500).
