Donna Lou Bird Evans, just one week from her 84th birthday, of Wampum, PA, formerly a longtime resident of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Beaver Falls, PA on December 17, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pauline Bird.

Donna is survived by her sons, Edward (Bobbi Jo) Evans; James (Jenifer) Evans; and Scott Evans; sister, Pamela (Daniel) Hollen; surrogate daughter, Natalie Holeweiski; grandchildren, Penni (Justin) Lamison; Codi (Kayla) Evans; Jessica (Caroline) Evans; Gage Evans; Zac Evans; Charles Evans; Emma Evans; Jackson Evans; Zach Cartwright; Spencer Crowe; Chaise (Kylyn) Evans; Tanner (Michael Menduck) Evans; Nicholas Childers; Patrick (Mia) Childers; Howard (Amanda) Childers; Morgan Childers; Taytum (Josh Glover) Evans; Hayley (Aaryss Stallings) Evans; and Bryce (Ashley Klink) Evans; surrogate grandchildren, Nick (Jennifer) Holeweiski; and Lena (Lee) Fox; thirteen beloved great-grandchildren; four surrogate great-grandchildren; dearly loved nephew, Tim Bird; nieces, Amanda (Joel) Estermyer; and Breanna (Dawn Irvine) Hollen; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Robert (the late Lynn) Bird; their son and Donna’s nephew, Rodney Bird; granddaughter, Skylar Evans; and beautiful daughter, Kimberly Evans.

Donna was employed at Kmart in Chippewa Township for many years. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls, PA, until their closing. She was currently a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in New Castle, PA.

Donna was known for many things. Her faith was forefront in her life. She was a dear and caring friend, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and nanny. Donna was a talented crocheter. One of the things she will be best remembered for is her tenacious, spunky and sassy spirit. She battled a plethora of health issues for many years with a fierce drive to keep going. Specifically for her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her deep love for her family was paramount in her life.

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice; Liberty Dialysis located in Chippewa, Baden, and Ellwood City; her primary care physician, Dr. Zvonar; and her amazing vascular surgeon at UPMC/Magee, Dr. Theodore Yuo.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Donna’s memory at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500) on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services, officiated by Father Adam Trambley, will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Noon at Trinity Episcopal Church, 212 N Mill Street, New Castle, PA, 16101. A burial will follow at Beaver Falls Cemetery and Memorial Park.
