Eleanor M. Gray, 99, of Rochester died Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the residence of her son, Samuel and Linda Gray of Rochester.
Born October 14, 1916 in North Sewickley Twp., she was the daughter of the late Amos E. and Mary A. (Householder) Pflugh and the wife of the late George Groves Gray. She was self-employed as a domestic worker. Eleanor loved gardening, her flower beds, her vegetable garden and canning. She enjoyed baking and quilting. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Burry's Church in Rochester.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter: Samuel W. (Linda) Gray, Rochester, PA, Mary Ann (John) Ignat, Toledo, OH, Robert E.(Kathleen) Gray, East Palestine, OH; grandchildren: Frank (Cheryl) Gray, Bonnie Jean Ignat, Robert G. (Angela) Ignat, Aaron Gray, Nathan N. (Anna) Gray, Patrick R. (Ashlee) Gray; 8 great-grandchildren: 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Harold E. Pflugh.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Jeff Gray and Jeremiah Gray; 2 sisters, Hazel Sahli and Gladys Caldwell; and a brother, Fredrick H. Pflugh.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wynn officiating
Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
