Geraldine Barrett

Geraldine “Gerry” Barrett, of Beaver Falls, PA, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. She was born November 17, 1939 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Atrie Mae Smith. She was a life long resident of Beaver County and a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric. She was a daughter of Keystone Temple #197, where she served as Daughter Ruler and a Trustee for many years and also a member of the American Legion, Post No. 261 in Beaver Falls for nearly 30 years. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted children, Anthony Barrett of Sewickley, Pa, Eddie (Connie) Barrett of Aliquippa, Pa, Annette Barrett of Jacksonville, Fl, Irene McNaughton of Miami, Fl, Catherine Barrett of Waldorf, Md, and Loretta (Alvin) McCray of Las Vegas, Nv; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; cousin, Charles Brodus of Pocono Mtns. Pa; very close friend, Juliaette Jones; and a host of other dear friends, too many to name, who meant the world to her. The memories of Gerry will forever live on in our hearts. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin R. Barrett; brother, Robert “Hawk” Smith; and sister, Lillie Beatrice “Bea” Smith. Let’s celebrate her abundant life on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010 with a service to follow at 1 pm with Minister Donna Nesmith officiating. Family would like to thank Heritage Valley and Good Samaritan Hospice for their care.
