Joan D. George

Joan D. George, age 83, of Beaver Falls, PA, died Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was born in Patterson Twp., PA on July 14, 1940 and is the daughter of the late Oliver Alva, Sr. and Nellie Louise Dennis Goosby, and the wife of the late Robert Lee George. She is survived by children, Tanisha George of McKeesport, PA, Deborah Goosby of Beaver Falls, PA, Jolanda George of Lawrenceville, PA, Amber George of the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA, Leon (Susan) George of Rochester, PA, Tyrone George of Freedom, PA, and Earl Joseph George of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers, LeRoy Goosby of Rochester, PA, Oliver Goosby, Jr. of Beaver Falls, PA, Franklin Goosby of Beaver Falls, PA, and John Goosby of Beaver Falls, PA. In addition to her husband, Joan was preceded in death by her sister, Denise Goosby Schofield, and brothers, Keith Goosby, and Fate Goosby. Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at A.D.
