John Edwin Schlosser

d. January 16, 2022

John "Butch" Edwin Schlosser, 77, of Patterson Twp., Pa, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born June 29, 1944 in Rochester, Pa, to the late Henry Schlosser and Mildred (Hahner) Schlosser-Cook. Butch worked at B & W steel mill for some time and then found his true calling in carpentry. His handiwork can be found all over Beaver County. He took pride in everything he made. His latest endeavor with his fiancée, Barb, will be seen every Christmas. His 'Grinches' will brighten the holidays for years to come. He was also a diehard Steelers and Penguins fan but his favorite hobby was spending his time restoring classic cars. He was always found at the Pennsylvania car shows in one of his works of art. His charisma and charm were as large as he was tall. His laughter would welcome everyone into his conversations. He could enter a room full of strangers and leave with each of them as a new friend. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his fiancée, Barbara Lohle; children, Stacey (Brenda) Schlosser, Jacqueline (Kurt) Magness, David (Susan) Schlosser and Collin Lohle; grandchildren, Ken, Ashley, Brooke, Brian, Kayla and Rachel; four great grandchildren; a loving niece and nephew; and best friend, Cooper, the collie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy and a niece, Robin. There will be no visitation or services per his wishes. Family would like to say a special thanks to his close friends for all their care and compassion.
