Jolene Atkinson Migota

1934 — 2025

Beaver Falls

With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Jolene Atkinson Migota announces her peaceful passing in July 2025, at the age of 91. Jolene was born in 1934 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania to James and Rebecca (Toy) Bowser. She was one of seven children, growing up in the heart of a large, loving family with four brothers and two sisters. Jolene was a devoted wife and a proud mother of five, cherishing her role as the heart of the family. Later in life, she pursued her passion by earning a cosmetology license.

A devoted follower of Christ, Jolene was known by all who loved her as a prayer warrior. Her prayers covered countless lives and her faith carried many through their darkest times. She was often found with her Bible open and her heart lifted in prayer for those she loved.

She leaves behind a lasting and beautiful legacy in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing she has entered into the joy of her Savior, hearing the words she longed for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

In addition to her parents James and Rebecca Bowser, Jolene was preceded in death by her first husband, Ross Atkinson Sr; second husband, Bill Crawford; third husband, Richard Migota; by her brothers James, Wayne, and Daniel Bowser, her sisters Eileen Buss and Mary Etta King, and her great grandson Vincent Stanton.

Jolene is survived by her five children, Ross (Diane) Atkinson Jr of Ellwood City; Catherine Ketterer of Beaver Falls; Jacqueline (Charles) Kenney of West Chicago, IL; Lucinda (Chaun) Copper of Ellwood City; and Rebecca (Scott) Blair of Beaver Falls; her brother Donald Bowser; her 18 grandchildren, Rebecca (Michael) Stanton; Mary Beth (Mark) Falesnik; Kelly Lofink; Jolene (Cale) Thomas; Stacey (Gary) Lutz; Elizabeth Johnson; Laurie Smith; Lisa (Kyle) Wayman; Joseph Kenney; Rachel (Andy) Westfall; Chaun Copper Jr; Daniel Copper; Matthew (Ashley) Copper; Michael Copper; Michelle (KJ) Sabotchick; Hope (Michael) Garcia; Stephanie (Robert) Chute; Benjamin (Karina) Blair; Becky (Shane) Shrum; her 48 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Jolene’s memory on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R.
