Margaret Grace Sherrill Cox

Margaret Grace Sherrill Cox, of Enon Valley, PA, and a current resident of Franciscan Manor for several years, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 10, 2024. She was born June 12, 1944, in Darlington, PA, and is the daughter of the late Virgil F. and Elnora Grace Berresford Sherrill.

Margaret married the love of her life, Kevin Cox, on June 23, 1973. Everywhere you saw Kevin, Margaret was there by his side. Her greatest joy in her life was her family. She always took care of everyone. Margaret was a member of the Mayfield Baptist Church of Beaver Falls for many years. She loved assisting the children with crafts and making backdrops for VBS and youth rallies. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and were members of various historical societies. She also volunteered at Brady’s Run Maple Syrup Festival and gave conservation talks. She was an avid outdoor person and loved all wildlife.

Margaret is survived by her siblings, Mary (the late Clifford) Taylor of New Galley, PA; John (Nancy) Sherrill of Darlington, PA; Sonja McIntosh of East Palestine, OH; David Sherrill of East Palestine, OH; Russell (Bonnie) Sherrill of East Palestine, OH; Gloria (Mike) Stotler of Phoenix, AZ; Edward (Gerry) Sherrill of Darlington, PA; Charlene (Mike) Green of Leetonia, OH; Darlene (Bill) Kohn of East Palestine, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Margaret on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa Twp., PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500) and again on, Friday, April 12, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow.

Donations may be made in memory of Margaret to the Mayfield Bible Baptist Church, 501 37th Street, Beaver Falls, PA, 15010.
